An industrial door and façade in one

Who said that an industrial door has to conform to common stereotypes? The MakroPro 2.0 ELH series doors can constitute a uniform whole with the façade of your building. The front covered with wood, Corten sheets, stone or plastic panels? Why not integrate the door with the background – to create the effect of a perfectly uniform façade?

Characteristics and features

Each element of the MakroPro 2.0 door series was designed with utmost attention to detail, all the while bearing in mind that the ready product will have to face tough requirements. The technological solutions that we used are unique throughout the market and ensure a high degree of safety and durability of the entire design, as well as easy fitting and servicing.

Side gasket

The warm, four-chamber, hard and soft side gasket is a state-of-the-art solution. On the one hand, thanks to the use of a double lip and three-chamber construction, it effectively eliminates thermal bridges, while on the other, it ensures a safe distance between the lintel and the door curtain. The MakroPro 2.0 doors are fitted with warm side gaskets as standard.

Top gasket

The warm, elongated, two-lip top gasket ensures double sealing in the top section of the door.

Corner gasket

The solution enables maximum sealing of the top corners of the door – the area where the side gaskets join the top gasket.

Tracks

The tracks are made of 2 [mm] thick sheet. A thicker wall in combination with the modified shape (additional forming) is even more effective in preventing guiding rollers from derailing and considerably improves the stabilization of the door track system.

Opening frames

Fitted with an additional wall that prevents side gaskets from working their way out and reinforces the opening frame. This stabilises the entire door track system to ensure reliable operation.

Double installation fixing holes

The openings (fixing holes where anchors are installed) are cut out in pairs. This is convenient whenever fitting problems arise, e.g when the drill hits a rebar while holes are being drilled.

Tracks screw-assembled with the opening frame

The connection is provided using mounting plates. With this solution, the offset of the vertical tracks (fixing hole adjustment) from the wall can be modified. This makes it possible to replace just the tracks. The tracks are screwed down with the opening frames at the factory.

The 1,000 mark

A mark – an arrow – is placed 1,000 [mm] from the base of the vertical frames. This makes it possible to accurately find the proper height for fitting the opening frames.

Open structure of the mounting elements

The mounting, safety, and support plates of the drive elements of the shaft now have an open structure. This solution enables quicker and easier installation, replacement, and servicing of door drive elements.

Electric drive unit installation

The drive unit is fixed to the door structure. This method of installation makes fitting quicker, does not transfer vibrations onto the building, and enables installation of the drive unit where the partition materials would not allow it (e.g. sandwich panel).

Quiet guiding rollers

The rear crossbar is made of 2 [mm] thick sheet. Together with sheet angle bars, it forms a robust stabilising element. It is also used as a frame gauge that helps to properly and quickly determine the spacing of the opening frames of the door during fitting.

With the design of the brake safeguarding against the effects of load-bearing cables breakage (the brake is integrated with the catching element), the entire safeguard mechanism is built-in in the door structure.

Safeguard preventing the door from being prised open

The brackets can be used instead of the standard clamp in the middle of the horizontal track. The solution makes it possible to bypass a lintel beam, for example.

Adjusted suspension bar brackets

The special horizontal track layout (cascade) provides increased strength and stabilises the structure.

The larger holders of the guiding rollers are equipped with special bushes made of self-lubricating plastic. With this solution, door operation became considerably smoother, because the structural vibrations are silenced and attenuated.

The doors are made of 40 [mm] thick aluminium panels without a thermal break, infilled with acrylic glazing. Steel bottom panel.
